Introduction and Open Letter

Dear brothers and sisters students (and friends),

Well, it is here and it is functioning as long as someone wishes to have it active. This is the trial web page that our association wanted to have two (2) years ago. Yes, it was two years ago when I first recommended a web page for our association's members communicating with the world but because of knowledge and funding limited, we cannot afford to have a web page.

Until now, thru free service like TRIPOD, I could put up something here every now and then so you all at least have a clue what is going on inside the association even if you did not or do not anticipate in any events.

On SATURDAY MARCH 28, 1998, we held a JOB SEARCHING SKILLS workshop. It is FREE for everyone, including yourself. Unfortunately, you have missed the event!. So see you some other times.

Remember to COME BACK here often to learn about more great news and I hope you will not miss any thing next time.

P.S. On top is the official logo for the Centennial VSA and below is the suggested logo for Vietnamese Student Club at Centennial College. Because the club is another organization under control of Centennial Student Association. The club gets funding direct from Centennial SA so they have their own name and logo. Centennial VSA includes all Vietnamese students have attended, are currently attending, and will attend Centennial. Vietnamese Student Club is restricted to only students currently attending Centennial.

If you are a student, chances are you have heard about UVSA. Please visit website above to know more information. We have done, are doing, and will do a very good job of joining all the students in Southern Ontario and making them a strong force to be useful.

We need your help. Please step forward if you think you could have some spare time to join us. Do not let your talent be rusted and died. No matter what your talent is; you could be a web-designer, a born-leader, a good-thinker, an experienced-advisor, or simply a fun-follower, you would be useful in some aspect of UVSA. No matter how old you are; you could be eighteen or eighty year old but if you are young at heart, we need you. Sincerely.
